Video Series on Kids' curiousity

I oversaw the large scale, cross-departmental, award-winning online kids’ video series, Sea Curious, which I kept under budget while exceeding all of our targets for reach of views, diversity and inclusion within the project, and feedback from families viewing the series.  As the project lead on the Sea Curious video series, I had the privilege of working with Chicago-area children, a videography team, and staff from across every department at Shedd Aquarium.  The result was an award-winning series of videos viewed over 170,000 times.  Please read more about the project here.

Online Teacher Professional Development

I created and managed an online teacher professional development program on Great Lakes science.  Teachers discovered environmental and science literacy concepts through videos, games, articles, citizen science, observations, and projects.  The platform included gamification using badging and community-building features for the users.  A partnership with National Louis University brought graduate level credentialing to the program.

Google Expedition 360 experience

Coordinating with departments across Shedd Aquarium as well as Google, I wrote and oversaw the production of the Google Expedition on penguins.  The experience allowed school children, and anyone, to explore 360 views of behind the scenes areas such as the animal hospital, kitchen spaces, and inside the penguin exhibit itself, while learning about penguin biology and behavior.
